| 456 HCs,52 other ranks get in-situ promotion | | | Early Times Reporter

Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar has ordered in-situ promotion for 456 Head Constables, two Sg.Cts, seven constables and 43 followers. An order bearing number 132/2008 dated 08/03/2008 has been issued in this regard.
The promotions have been ordered on the basis of recommendation of Departmental Promotion Committee constituted vide ZPHQ Order No. 21/08 dated 15.01.2008 and 44/08 dated 28.01.2008.
The sanction has been accorded to the grant of In-situ Grade Promotion in respect of these Police personnel to the next higher standard pay scale w.e.f the dates shown against each official in the list(Attached with this release) in terms of SRO 14 of 1996 dated 15.01.1996 read with SRO 225 dated 04.07.1997 after completion of their 9 years service in a particular pay scale.
