| Locals demand TSO for Mankote | | |

Poonch, Sept 5: Mankote tehsil of sub division Mendhar has been without tehsil supply officer (TSO) for the last more than eight months rued the locals who demanded immediate posting of TSO in Mankote tehsil from the Government source said here today
They said people of Mankote have been suffering a lot at the hands of authority , who come far flung areas for their works but find the TSOs office closed. They have to return back without their works being done there due to non availability of officer
Locals said that TSO Mendhar who holds additional charge of Mankore too, mostly remain in Mendhar only. He pays less visits to Mankote and as a maker of fact the people who visit TSOs have to return back after waiting there for whole day
Since the people were suffering at the hands of Government, they urged for immediate posting of new TSO to Mankote the post which has been vacant since months together. Meanwhile a social activist Mushtaq Ahmed has appealed Director CAPD Jammu and DDC Poonch to take the cognizance of people's play and despite a TSO to Mankote tehsil at the earliest |
