| Drugs Peddler nabbed with Heroin in Rajouri | | |

rajouri, Sept 5: A joint team Special Operation Group (SOG) & Police Station Rajouri has arrested a drugs peddler along with consignment of Heroin worth thousands of rupees.
For routine domination purposes, a team of SOG and Police Station Rajouri was sent on a patrol when at Tarpai Bridge Saim Samit on Rajouri-Thanamandi road, a man was seen moving who changed his direction suddenly after seeing police patrol.
"Such an act of man developed suspicion among cops who detained the man and soon another team headed by Inspector Tahir Yousuf-SHO Police Station Rajouri reached on spot and during search of suspect, 15 grams of Heroin like substance was recovered", said police spokesman.
Spokesman further said that the man was arrested on the spot and has been lodged in Police Station Rajouri while a case under FIR 500/2018 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered against accused.
Police identified the accused as Dushant Singh son of Shankar Singh resident of Sainik Colony Jammu.
Further investigation to unearth the whole network is going on. The arrest was made under the supervision of DySP Ops Sukhdev Singh and DySP Hqrs Govind Rattan. |
