| Striking clerks to toughen stand | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | March 8 Striking clerks have warned to strengthen their stand from March 15 in case the government fails to find a way out to their demands. Addressing hundreds of agitating clerks at exhibition ground here on Saturday, Coordinator Jammu and Kashmir Clerical Association, Ram Kumar said that the clerks all across the state would be left with no option than to toughen their stand if government ignores them further. "It is very unfortunate that government has paid no attention towards our genuine demand of ending pay anomalies and if government persists with this attitude, we would be left with no other option than to toughen our stand in order to get our demands addressed," he added. Decrying the government, he said that the working classes, which form the backbone of the state, are being ignored and during last fifteen days of their strike, government didn't even bother to initiate a dialogue with striking clerks. The clerical staff is on strike from last fifteen days to stress the demand of ending pay anomalies
