Sheikh demands immediate disbursement of relief

The vice president state PCC in a press note issued here today have urged upon the chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad to issue necessary instructions to the concerned authorities for immediate disbursement to relief to draught and heavy snowfall affected people who had even lost their residential houses and are suffering badly. He demanded that work on Pukal Dul, Budsar, Karthaie, Kero, Kwar and Retal hydroelectric projects should be started so that unemployed youth of the area be absorbed in these projects. He also demanded that 90% local employed youth be observed in all these projects, keeping in view and poverty and backwardness of district Kishtwar. Sheikh also demanded that on spot recruitment drive in police, Para Military forces and army be carried in Marwah, Warwan, Dachan, Paddar, Palmar areas of district so that educated youths of these remote and far flung areas be adjusted.
