| NCP gaining grounds: Randhir | | | Jammu Mar 8 Nationalist Congress Party leader Randhi Singh has asserted that emergence of NCP as second largest party in recent assembly elections in Meghalaya indicates that the party is gradually gaining grounds due to efforts of PA Sangma former speaker and veteran NCP leader. In a press statement issued here today, the NCP state chief stated that the party is on fast track of popularity in the North East and elsewhere in the country. Singh further said that the NCP in future will field candidates on its own strength and will keep party identity in the coming assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir also.
