| MEF to observe 72-hour strike | | | Early Times Reporter

All consolidated contractual and ad-hoc employees of a SMGS, GMC and its associated hospital held a meet here today. The meet was held under the chairmanship of Medical Employees Federation (MEF) leader Baldev Raj Nargotra. He said that these employees had given their golden period of life for the smooth run of the hospitals but government is doing injustice by not fulfilling their genuine demands. He said the government is paying them meager pay of Rs. 2000 and had also not taken any step for their regularization.
The members of the federation decided to go on 72 hour strike from March 12. Among others who addressed during the meet were, Garu Ram, Arjun Singh, Rakesh Kumar and Vijay Kumar.
