| Removal of pay anomalies sought | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 8 The Sales Tax Employees Welfare Association (STEWA) has urged upon the government to remove the pay anomalies in the pay scales of Jr. Asst., Sr. Astt. Head Asstt, Jr. Scale steno and class 4 employees of the department. Addressing a meeting of association, its president Sawtantar Bharat Bakshi demanded early absorbing of ousted employs of sales tax/excise department and conducting of DPC of all the employees. He said all ministerial cadre staff are the back bone of the every department, but the government is paying no attention towards to remove anomalies for which they have been pressing since long. He further said, the step motherly treatment of the administration has annoyed the employees and as such strong resentment among the employees is brewing up. In the meeting Bakshi strongly condemned the state government for adopting divide and rule policy in respect of ministerial cadre and asked the state government to remove the pay anomalies of the said cadre otherwise cadre will have left no alternative except to intensify struggle for the fundamental rights and justice. Among others who participated in the meeting were, Ram Pal, Sandesh Sharma, Kuljeet Singh, Bua Dutt, Romesh Chander Sharma, Surinder Sharma, Ram Kundal, Ashok Kumar, Ajay Kesari, Subash Chander, Kewal Krishan, Parkash Singh Barkat Ali and Saraj Din.
