One person was killed and 3 injured in road mishaps, two persons die under suspicious circumstances while police recovered a large quantity of intoxicant capsules.
Giving details a police spokesman said that one person died on the spot while three others suffered injuries when a Maruti car in which they were traveling in skidded off the road and rolled down at village Parkhwal under Raj Bagh police station.
The deceased has been identified as Parveen Kumar of Maharajpur.
In the meantime the bodies of Ashok Kumar of Chak Jaffer and Swarn Singh of Sangpur Narian Nowshera were found under dead under suspicious circumstances at their homes. Police have started proceedings u/s 174 Cr. PC in both the cases.
The police also recovered about 15 packets of intoxicant capsules (100 in each) from the possession of one Ajay Sharma s/o Darshan Lal r/o Trimurti Mandir Janipur during a naka checking at Nagrota. Case FIR NO 56/08 u/s 48 F of Excise Act was registered against the accused at police station Nagrota.
