| RJD demands package for state youth | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 10 Decrying the successive state governments for its failure to find a way out to grave problem of unemployment, Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) state unit has demanded a special economic and employment package for the youth of state so that maximum number of qualified youth could be able to earn livelihood for themselves. Addressing media persons in a press conference here on Monday, State President RJD, Ghulam Nabi Shah (Forah) said that only a special employment and economic package could provide some sort of relief to innumerable unemployed youth across the state. He stressed upon the government to provide reservation in educational and professional institutions across the state for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir state. He also impressed upon the state coalition government to hold negotiations with striking employees of all the departments and public undertakings so that their problems are addressed. He also welcomed the nomination of Party general secretaries, Zulfikar Ali Mumtaz and Mohammed Ismail Zargar for members of Zonal Railway Users Consultative Committee (ZRUCC). |
