| Industries Minister to declare open Athletics Meet tomorrow | | | Early Times Reporter

Minister for Industries and Commerce, Nawang Rigzin Jora shall declare open the three-day Annual Inter-college Athletics Meet at University of Jammu on March 12.
“Soon after the Minister declare open the event at 10.30 am, the athletics from different affiliated colleges and the Post Graduate Departments of University of Jammu shall launch their campaign for the top honours in various track and field events”, Director Physical Education, University of Jammu, Prof Lokesh Verma said.
He further said that Minister for Sports, Haji Nissar Ali has consented to be the chief guest in the valedictory function of the meet on March 14 at the same venue.
Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jammu, Prof Amitabh Mattoo will preside over the functions. |
