| Panthers’ to stay away from proposed third front | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 10 Encouraged by peoples response to the rallies the Panthers Party held in various parts of the Jammu region,during the last over one week, the party leadership has no plan of either joining the proposed third front of lending indirect support to it. “We have our party constitution and programme and as such we cannot join the proposed third front,”said leader of Panthers Party in the Assembly,Harsh Dev Singh.He said here today,after completing a week-long mass contact programme in Basholi,Billawar,Ramnagar,Udhampur and Akhnoor,that “there was no need for us to forge alliance with any other political group or conglomerate,including the third front. He said the party Chief,Prof. Bhim Singh,is in Doda and Bhaderwah areas and by March 21 the Panthers Party leaders will cover Reasi,R.S.Pora,Bishna,Vijaypur and Poonch and Rajouri.The second phase of the mass contact programme will be started from the middle of April. Harsh Dev said that “we do not want to fritter away our gains by joining hands with the third front whenever it is born.I do not think the third front will receive support from any political party of influence in the Jammu region. |
