| Faqir Chand booked for thrashing SPO | | | Early Times Reporter

Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) MLA has been booked for allegedly thrashing a special police officer at his residence in Gomansa in Bohri area of Jammu on Tuesday.
Police sources said that JKNPP MLA Faquir Chand along with four others were booked for manhandling and thrashing SPO Sukhdev Singh posted at his residence during the intervening night of March 9 and 10.
Giving details, Police said that The MLA along with his brothers Darshan Lal, Rattan Lal and relatives Sham Lal and Tara Chand roughed the SPO up after entering into a verbal duel.
Sources further said that the MLA along with four relatives was allegedly in intoxicated condition at about 11:30 Pm other day when they thrashed the SPO.
The SPO is undergoing treatment in a hospital.
An FIR 72/ 2008 u/s 353,332,147 of RPC has been registered against them at Domana police station. |
