BSS organizes 30th State Sports Meet Athletics

JAMMU, Sept 18: Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti Jammu and Kashmir organized its 30th State Sports Meet Athletics in State Sports Council Ground Gandhi Nagar Jammu in which 17 schools of zone Kishtwar, Bhaderwah, Doda, Ramban, Udhampur, Reasi, Katra, Kathua, Billawer, & Jammu zone participated.
The programme was inaugurated by Sanjeev Vema Divisional Commissioner Jammu in the august presence of Ram Lal Sharma Senior Vice President of BSS J&K, Suresh Parihar, Pradip Tripathi, Samir Krishan Saproo, Kuldip Raj, Shabnam Didi and Prant Samiti Members.
Sameer Krishan Saproo presented the welcome address and introduced the guests and presented the detailed zone wise report of schools to perform the Abhinandan Sanchalan. Students of Dashmesh Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Dashmesh Nagar presented colourful cultural programme on the moral values. All the School Management Committee Members and Parents attended the inaugural ceremony.
Pradip Kumar, Sangathan Mantri presented the work and activities of Vidya Bharti Schools in J&K and said that Vidya Bharti is running 36 Recognized Schools in Jammu and Ladakh Province of J&K in which 9000 students are studying under the able guidance of 500 teachers working with missionary zeal. Chief Guest in his address appreciated the role of Vidya Bharti in expanding the education based on rich culture of the country along with the activities. He said that Vidya Bharti is laying special emphasis on Physical Education/ Sports, Science, Vedic Mathematics, Yog, Sangeet which is the dire need of the present society. Also the stress is laid on moral education which is very important to develop the young generation in transforming new India into rich cultural and traditional values also.
He hailed the efforts of the workers of Vidya Bharti J&K which are working day and night under low profile and providing the best service to the common man living in far flung areas of J&K like Zanskar Kargil, Madwa Dachhan. He also said it is amazing that the society is helping the government in hand to hand and developing the modern society in Education.
