| Medical employee’s federation original holds meeting | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER JAMMU | JULY 5 An urgent meeting of JK employee’s federation original was held under the chairmanship of Paramjeet Singh General Secretary JKMEFO in order to thank the concerned authorities and press their further demands. The participants in the meeting expressed satisfaction over starting the training of ladies health visitors (LHV) .The said training was banned for past many years. The MEFO leader’s had called Director Health Services Jammu and presented a representation in this regard to start the said training. The participants appreciated DHS Jammu for having fulfilled their demand and started the training on the seniority basis strictly. They said that in past many junior female multipurpose workers had got training outside the state and become LHVS and the senior FMPWS were ignored. The participants also appreciated the DHS Jammu for starting multipurpose training of Malaria staff at Nagrota. The participants also demanded many burning problems of medical employees to be redressed like permanent of adhoc employees, granting of multipurpose grade to female multipurpose workers, and anomalies in the grade of drivers. The participants further demanded that other problems like enhancing the TA from Rs. 45 to 500 be solved without further delay. Others who attended the meeting were Dharminder Singh President MEFO, RK Sharma Patron, Mohd Hussain Malik, Reham Din, Kulwant Singh, Mohd Latif, Gobind Ram, Kuldip Singh, Rajesh Banti, Saroj Bala and Kanta Gupta. |
