Rajouri, Sept 20: For uploading an old video of protest demonstration against education department, senior officials/officers on social media network, Ch. Lal Hussain, CEO Rajouri has sought an explanation from a Master of the department and sought response from him within two days. Ch Lal Hussain, CEO termed the act of the Master against 'civil service regulations' (CSR) and 'service conduct rules' and added it has created hostile situation against the department. "It was the responsibility of the department to look into the public grievances and to take necessary remedial measures and not of an employee of the department to make the video (s) of the protest (s) against the department on social media network" said CEO. He said Mehmood Qazi , master at middle school Khablan (in Thanamandi education zone) has posted an old video (recorded in July) of the protest against the department on WhatApp group organised by the students/parents. On September, 18 students of high school at Galhan along with parents and prominent people had held protest demonstration and locked high school at Galhan alleging shortage of teachers. Earlier in the month of July, students, parents and prominent people of the area had locked the school alleging against sanctioned 12 posts of the masters/teachers only 4 teachers were present and most of them were absent. Lajo Devi, ZEO along with Tehsildar, had visited the school and opened the locks assuring to provide subject teachers within 10 days. Next day she provided 2 teachers purely on academic arrangements. "Even after a gap of more than one month no teacher was sent as was promised by the ZEO and people locked the school in protest again on September 18" said Mani Ram, former sarpanch.
