| Udhampur College is new inter-college volleyball champion | | | Early Times Reporter

Lost to Degree College Kathua in the title clash last year, Degree College Udhampur boys today fulfilled their dream of becoming the inter-college volleyball champion.
In the final played today at the University of Jammu grounds, Udhampur College turned the tables against the formidable side of Post Graduate Departments of University of Jammu in a close contest 3-1.
In the best of five final, Udhampur boys made a winning start but lost the following set to find the score leveled at 1-1. However, the superb game played by Mohd Arshad and Mohd Javed helped Udhampur College win the two successive sets and match also. Anil Sharma and Vishal Sharma also played well from PG Departments. The score: 25-17, 23-25, 25-20, 25-17.
The final was officiated by Shashi Sharma, Rajesh Virdhy and Mulkh Raj. Inter-college volleyball tournament was organized by the Department of Physical Education, University of Jammu. |
