| Govt. has failed to generate employment opportunities in state: RJD | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 12
Decrying coalition government for its failure to fulfill its pre poll promise of providing employment to at least one member of the family, Rashtirya Janta Dal (RJD) state unit has said that due to frail policies, the youth of the state is disturbed and in situation like this only a special employment package could provide some sort of relief to them. Addressing Media persons in a press conference organized here on Wednesday to announce the joining to various workers in youth wing of the party, State President RJD, Syed Gh. Nabi Shah (Forah) said that the coalition government has never demonstrated its willingness to generate employment opportunities for the youth as a result of which the number has increased with every passing day. "What would be the future of our state if youth are crumbled under frustration due to wrong policies of government," Shah asked. Criticizing the coalition government for ignoring youth, he said that it was the qualified rural youth of the state that voted it to power but soon after assuming office it forgot all about the pre poll promises it had made with them. He further said that it is the wrong policies of government that has created the problems, the state is presently faced with, adding that transparency, accountability and responsiveness have been missing during all these years of coalition rule. Earlier Devinder Kumar, S. Gurmez Singh, Kival Krishen Sharma, Parveen Singh Chib, Ragender Sharma, Balvant Singh from BSP and Abdul Rashid rather from BSP for joined youth wing of RJD. Others present on the occasion, were Nazir Ahmed Gurkoo, Gh. Mohammed Mir, Dharm Pal Katariya, Vivek Gupta and others.
