| Unidentified militant killed in Sopore | | | Early Times Reporter

Security forces today claimed to have killed an unidentified militant from a remote village of Sopore in South Kashmir.
Police sources told KMT that in reaction to a tip off, cops of Police and Army rushed towards village Uphill Rampur and to conduct search operation.
As security cops were engaged in conducting search, they came under heavy fire which was equally retaliated by them.
In the fierce gun battle which lasted for some time, one unidentified militant was eliminated, police said.
Police has registered a case in this regard and search the area is continued. Further details will follow
