| Rehman: Loan waiving politically motivated | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 12 Commenting on waiving of loans to farmers by the UPA government, the state Samajwadi Party said the act was politically motivated keeping in view the elections. Addressing the workers, here today state president of party Sheikh Abdul Rehman said that the decision to waive off farmers’ loans was actually taken during the tenure of Devegowda and VP Singh, but due to redtapisim it could not be executed. He said congress has violated rules of Lok-Sabha on the budget as the budget was leaked earlier as congress party had already organized the rally of farmers at 10-Jan path. Rehman also said no provision was made for J&K farmers dislocated from LOC. Prominent among these who attended the meeting under the chairmanship of party president Sheikh Ab. Rehman, including Col. Retd. Bhadur Singh Chowdhary, Faize Ahmed Butt, R.S Chouhan, Sheikh Mohd. Shefi, Sham Lal Mahasha, Garu Ram, Suram Chand etc.
