Fresh Intelligence inputs have alerted security forces guarding mountain shrine of Mata Vaishno devi nested in Trikuta hills and few other religious places of fresh militant attack in the coming months.
Following these inputs three tier security grid has been put on high alert to prevent any such major strike in and around important religious places including Vaishno devi, official sources said.
A senior police officer in Katra said that, we regularly receive inputs from Intelligence sources and review our security arrangements to prevent such attacks. He said we have asked our security men to concentrate more on manual surveillance and has also increased patrolling in the area and along the mountain road leading to Katra.It may be mentioned that intelligence bureau had recently intercepted a satellite phone conversation of terrorists planning to attack the temple.
