Sahyog holds training programmes for NGO’s

Sayhog India “Prerna Institute of rehabilitation & research” organizes training programme for ‘Social Organizations of border areas to strengthen the activities/ programmes of J&K State Commission for women in the rural area. The five days training programme sponsored by J&K State Commission For Women was inaugurated by Mtr. Hafiza Muzzafar, Secretary – J&K State Commission For Women. In her inaugural address, she threw a lucid light upon the aims & objectives of the commission and all other activities under the umbrella of commission for women empowerment, Mtr. Muzzafar also enlightened the representatives of NGO’s participating in the Training Programme that commission is very much there for effective implementation of the safeguards to imp roe the condition of women in the state by taking up the case of violation of the provision the constitution and other laws relating to women with appropriate concerned authorities looking in the complaints to take “suo-motto” notice of matters relating to deprivation of women’s rights to participate and advise to the policy makers on the planning processes of socio-economic development of women to assist and fund litigation involving issue affecting a large body of women, she also invited all NGO’s to have a close ties with the commission to make strong networking to protest the women rights at grass root level. Prof. Rita Jitender renowned women activists also delivered an awareness lecture to aware the NGO’s regarding women rights for their self dependence G. L Sharma Asstt. Director (Retd.0 Law and Empowerment and President Rural Awareness Movement also addressed the delegates of NGO’s. Ashvini Jojra Founder President of Sahyog India in his welcome address, presented extensive appraisal report and motive behind this training programme for NGO’s and the sincere NGO’s act and serve as a bridge between the deprived massed and the govt. for quick and qualitative redressal and it is a moral prerogative of every NGO’s as well as individual to act and serve the society with sincerity especially for the cause of women who nourishes the entire society ignoring all hurdles and obstacles, Jojra stressed. For five days programme the resource persons from different fields of development especially for women will address the NGO’s.
The participants served with new innovation for sustainable development. All NGO’s participating in the Training Programme reflected their satisfaction for such a enthusiastic programme of its kind in border areas involving all rural based NGO,s by Sahyog India.
