| PNB staff strike on Mar 31 | | | Early Times Reporter

The office bearers of Punjab National Bank (PNB) Staff Union would observe one day strike on all India level on Mar 31. This was stated by general secretary of AIPNBOA Ashwani Pardhan, here today. In this regard a massive protest dharna was staged by the staff members of PNB. The dharna was a part of the going nation wide agitation against the dictatorial attitude of the chairman and managing director of the bank, who are failed to fulfill the long pending demands of the employees of the bank. The staff members are demanding wage revision shrinking of promotion opportunities, out sourcing of case banking activities and others. On this occasion president AIPNBOA, V.K Dutta also ignored that with continue their agitation the employees would also hold a dharna in New Delhi where is the head office of Bank on Mar. 21 and further appealed to office bearers to participate in said dharna.
