| SRTC employees threaten suicides | | | Early Times Reporter

The SRTC employees, who continued their protest against alleged backtracking by state government on its assurances made with the employees, assembled here today and staged a protest.
However, they were prevented to stage demonstration inside SRTC premises as police personnel were deployed who had locked the gate and did not allow the agitating employees to enter.
Speaking on the occasion, president SRTC employees union Ashok Mehra said that the government has failed to fulfill its assurances to provide COLA and other facilities for the employees. The employees would not deter to meet their demands and would further intensity their strike till there is a favourable conclusion.
The employees also urged upon the chief minister to fulfill the demands of employees as they are along with their family members suffering badly and warned the authorities if they failed in fulfilling their demands then they would be forced to adopt path of suicides.
