A woman today burnt herself in her house. Giving details said that woman of 27 years identified as Anu Sharma w/o Pawan Sharma r/o Burgal, Akhnoor burnt herself. She was rushed to government hospital, Akhnoor where sensing her critical condition doctors referred her to GMC hospital Jammu. Sources said that women took this extreme step because she was allegedly regularly beaten by her in-laws for dowry. Police has registered the case and investigating the matter.
