Jammu police today claimed to have unearthed a gang involved in chain snatching and has solved more than twenty cases with the arrest of two youth from Sarwal area of Jammu. Official sources disclosed that Sarwal police today caught red-handed two youth from patoli area, when they tried to snatch the chain of a lady. Senior superintendent of police Jammu Mukesh Sing in a press conference informed reporters that Sarwal police today caught two youth of janipura when they tried to snatch chain of a lady who was walking in patoli area today. Identified as Amit Kumar S/O Ram Krishan and Manu Khajuria son of Mahesh Khajuria both from janipura were arrested by flying squad of Sarwal police post. Yamma Motor cycle bearing Number JK02B- 5728 was also seized fro the possession of the youth. During preli9menary interrogation Amit Kumar revealed that they were group of four persons involved the chain snatching, however, two of them were at large. Police is searching other two boys named by them. He claims to have solved more than twenty cases of chain snatching cases which were reported in different police stations under SDPO Bakshi Nagar. |
