Lt Gen JK Mohanty, GOC-in-C, Army Training command visited Headquarters Rising Star Corps , Yol, on 13 March 2008 and held detailed discussion on with Lt Gen Vinay Sharma, GOC 9 Corps on training related matters in the light of doctrinal changes in the strategic Corps post PARAKRAM. GOC-in-C was accompanied by Mrs Pratibha Mohanty, President AWWA who visited the vocational training centre and interacted with wives of officers, JCOs , NCOs and other ranks. She appreciated the various welfare measures initiated by AWWA 9 Corps including the skills being imparted to the Army wives in nursery teaching, bag making, computer training and embroidery. |
