| BJP holds poll workers’ met | | | Early Times Reporter Doda | Mar 14 Polling booth workers conference was organized at Doda town hall in which hundreds workers participated. Addressing the workers State General Secretary & former MLA Ramban Bali Bhagat said that BJP leaders. He stressed upon the workers to strengthen the organization at the grass-roots level to ensure the victory of the party in coming assembly election. He said that 13 members committees have been constituted in all the 90 polling booths of the constituency and similar conferences will be organized on each Bolck Level shortly. He also urged for enrolling maximum members in the party from all sections of the society to further broden the base of the organization. Bali Bhagat said that Ghulam Nabi Azad led government is a saga of rampant corruption, loot of public money and all round inefficiency and nepotism of worst order. He charged upon the Congress led government for harassing and demoralizing the nationalist forces like VDCs under a deep conspiracy by not releasing their due hounorarium since five months in the three districts of the Doda valley. Bali Bhagat pointed out that 735 VDCs have not granted formal section in Ramban, Doda and Kishtwar districts on political consideration. Mandal Presidents Doda and Assar Swami Raj Sharma and Shashi Pal Sharma demanded that BPL and APL ration be provided to all the families of constituency as per their ration cares which is not being provided in the name of free ration. They also said that 286 hamlets are un-electrified in the five blocks of Ramban district and not even a single hamlet has been electrified in the Ghulam Nabi Azad regime sofar. Rashpal Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Bachan Kumar, Kunj Lal, Hafiz, Lal Din, Narinjan Singh, Jagdish Chander and Harji Lal were present on the occasion. |
