| DB admits appeal, issues notice to respondents | | Writ court order against BOPEE officials kept in abeyance | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 14 Division Bench of Jammu and Kashmir High Court, in an appeal filed by the Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE) against the directions of the writ court, has admitted the appeal for hearing and issued notice to the respondents. The Court ordered that in the meanwhile the observations made by the writ court in the penultimate paragraph of the judgment shall be kept in abeyance. The Division Bench, comprising Chief Justice KS Radhakrishnan and First Puisne Judge Justice Nisar Ahmed Kakru, while admitting the appeal against the order of writ court on a batch of writ petitions regarding the admission of B. Ed, observed that the state Government shall take appropriate action against erring officials of the BOPEE who have been responsible for issuing the select list first showing the names of the petitioners as selected candidates and thereafter keeping in abeyance the said list.
