| AJKYF urges Governor to fulfil demands | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 10: Personal intervention of State Governor S P Malik has been sought by All J&K Youth Federation (AJKYF) to resolve the long pending demands of the employees and students of Pahari Student Hostel, Jammu while calling off the strike on the instance of the management and Federation, by the agitators at Pahari Student Hostel Narwal, Jammu today said AJKYF Spokesperson Nakul Sharma.
AJKYF veterans Fazal-ul-Haq Choudhary, Haroon Rashid, Shah Nawaz Khaki and Nakul Sharma today sat on dharna with Pahari Students Hostel employees and students to support their genuine demands. On the assurance of the management and intervention of the Federation that the genuine demands of the agitators will be resolved within 10 days, the employees resumed their routine duties. It is unfortunate that the students of Pahari Community are deprived of, their due facilities, enshrined in the regulations made at the time of establishment of Pahari Students hostel, added Nakul.
The leaders of the Federation hoped that the phari community leaders irrespective of their party affiliations will strive for smooth running of Pahari Students Hostels in the state and contribute their bit to provide reservation to the pahari speaking people. |
