Jammu, Oct 10: Arnia police claimed to have arrested two motorcycle lifters and recovered four stolen motorcycles from their possession.
Police spokesman said that on 9th of October of 2018, Police party of Arnia police station was conducting patrolling in the jurisdiction of the police station and when party reached near Trewa Morh two persons on seeing the police party tried to escape from the spot.
"On their suspicious movement, the police party apprehended both of them they disclosed their identities as Rohit Kumar alais Sufi of Arnia Town and Vikram Choudhary alias Vicky of Koth Changia, Arnia", said spokesman adding that the police party brought both of them in the police station for questioning.
Spokesman further said that during questioning they disclosed their involvement in the lifting of two wheelers which they have stolen from jurisdiction of various police stations of Jammu District and on their instance four motor cycles were recovered which included JK02BH-7855 (Splendour Pro), JK02BD-8726 (Super Splendour), JK02AQ-9204 (Passion Plus), JK02BG-5946 (Splendour Pro).
The recovery was made by Inspector Rajesh Khajuria-SHO Arnia assisted by Head Constable Mohammad Shabir under the supervision of DySP Sourabh Prashar-SDPO RS Pura, RC Kotwal-SP HQrs. Jammu and over all supervision of Vivek Gupta-SSP Jammu. |
