Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 15 Chief Justice Mr. KS Radhakrishnan today administered oath of office to Justice Sunil Hali, as Additional Judge of State High Court. Earlier, Registrar General Mr. Abdul Rashid Bhat read out the warrants of elevation of notification issued by the President of India and notification issued by Union Ministry of Law & Justice, and also read the letter issued by the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir authorizing Chief Justice to administer oath of office to Justice Sunil Hali. An impressive but simple oath ceremony function was held in the Court room of Chief Justice here today. First Puisne Judge, NA Kakru , Justice Virender Singh, Justice YP Nargotra, Justice Mansoor Ahmed Mir, Justice BA Kirmani, Justice JP Singh, Justice Yaqoob Mir and retired Judges of the High Court Justice KK Gupta, Justice SK Gupta, Chairperson PSA Justice ML Koul, Chairman SAC GL Raina, Advocate General AH Naik, Commissioner/ Secretary Law AH Kochak, DGP Kuldeep Khoda,. BS Salathia President Bar Association Jammu, Judicial Officers of State, including the members of Bar Association Jammu were among those present on the occasion. Adv Sunil Hali born on February 22, 1951 at Srinagar passed B Sc in 1971 through Jammu University and also passed LL.B in the year 1973 from the same University. He started practice in Jammu Courts and shifted to Srinagar in the year 1977, started working in the Office of Late. PL Handoo (Adv/Ex-Minister of Law), established himself as good lawyer, particularly on the writ side, migrated to Jammu in the year 1990 on account of militancy. He started practice in the High Court Jammu/Srinagar and became one of the leading lawyers, conducted many important cases in the State High Court including Excise, Sales Tax, Forest Nationalization cases, enjoyed good reputation both in Jammu & Kashmir Bars.
