Poonch, Oct 9: The 28th Poonch District Open Table tennis championship under different age groups being organized by District T.T association Poonch begins today.
The championship was declared open by President of District T.T Association Ajeet Singh and Er Saleem Bandey, general secretary of the association in presence of Narinder Singh PEM, Salil Raina, Sandeep Luthra and all participants. On the first day, matches in Cadet category were played. In the first match Ridhik bt Akshit 11-9,11-9, Gursheesh bt Ashutosh 9-11, 12-10,11-9, Pranav bt Kaif 11-5,118, Pratham bt Pranav 12-10-11-6, In the first semifinal Ridhik by Gursheesh 11-7,11-9, and in second semifinal Pratham bt Pranav 11-9,11-8. Now, Pratham will take on Ridhik for the title clash. In Girls category Vanshika by Dyanshi 11-8,11-8, Suhani bt Bhumi 11-9,11-6. Now Vanshika will meet Suhani for the title clash. The matches were held under the supervision of Narinder Singh PEM. |
