| DAV School Akhnoor organiss Lecture on character building | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 10: Maharaja Harisingh DAV centenary Public school Akhnoor organized a workshop on Character Building in the school premises. The main speaker was Swami Omkarananda Sarraswati a renowed resource person on vedic vision c/o Sanyas Diksha Kailash Ashram, Rishikesh.
The workshop enlightened the students to follow the ethical values that are not politically, culturally and socially biased. Character building is an essential part of human life. The speakes urged the young audience to follow the fundamentals of character building viz; respect for elders, trustworthiness, fairness in dealings, caring others and shouldering responsibility. These values ultimately define a person and are consequential in his success in life. The participants were very happy on the concluding of the programme and acknowledged the importance of the values inculcated. Students actively participated in the question answer session and made the workshop a two way communication with their participating feedback. Principal of the school Alok Betab thanked swami for his motivational approach and expressed hope that students of DAV school will definitely follow the learning in their day to day life and make their life a success. He also emphasized the need for such frequent programmes. |
