| Mahey inspects sanitation drive in old city areas | | | Early Times Reporter

The Chairman, Public Health and Sanitation Committee, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Sanjay Mahey today inspected the sanitation drive in the areas of walled city here.
Mahey conducted the tours along with the corporator of Ward No. 19, Lalita Sharma, Health officer, K.D. Singh and other sanitary officers.
During the tour, Mahey visited the areas of Chand Nagar, Vivekanand Chowk, Lower Prem Nagar, Van Bhawan area and Samadhian area. He found the condition of lanes and drains were very deplorable and issued on spot instructions for the immediate clearance of the areas.
He further asked the health officer to take stern action against the defaulters if the conditions of the lanes and drains were not improved in stipulated time. |
