Jammu, Oct 9: Department of Management Studies, Govt. SPMR College of Commerce organised Lecture on Mental Health and its impact on positive personality on Wednesday on the occasion of International Mental Health day.
The Resource person was renowned Psychologist Dr. Manisha Kohli. The resource person spoke about how to improve mental health by following certain principles like-Associating your life with a purpose, by treating yourself different, by sharpening your own axes so that it does not rust out and many more motivational quotes.
Prof.(Dr) P.K.Sharma, Principal, Govt. SPMR College of Commerce while inaugurating the session stressed upon the need of Mental Health of students for Positive growth of Personality. He said that the current generation need to be conditioned about the impact of mental health which can adversely affect their growth prospect and urged the department of management studies to regularly conduct such activities.
Prof. Bharti Slathia, HOD, Department of Management Studies welcomed the resource person Dr. Manisha kohli. The session was also attended by the Faculty members including Prof. Suresh sadhotra, Dr. Sakshi sharma, Dr. Goldy Mahajan and Dr. Lekha Nagar. The student feedback session which was also held to assess the learning of the exercise emphasised that it is important for growth of positive personality. The event was attended by students of BBA/ B.Com Hons and co-ordinated by student coordinators Parul Slathia and Vasav Gupta. |
