The traffic authorities on Thursday said that traffic movement on Srinagar Jammu highway will be allowed from Jammu to Srinagar today.
An official from the traffic department said that nomads have started driving their cattle for seasonal migration to Jammu from the Valley, which often leads to a heavy traffic jam. Keeping in view the situation, the authorities have allowed the only one-way traffic on the highway and the vehicles will be plying from Jammu to Srinagar today.
Pertinently, from the past many days, the highway has witnessed massive traffic jams which often lead the commuters to face inconveniences.
