| Deputations call on Advisor to CM | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 15 Various deputations today called on Mr. Janak Raj Gupta Advisor to Chief Minister and projected their demands. Deputation of Gujjar Bakarwal Mobile Welfare Association under the leadership of Mrs. Zullikha Tabsum Choudhery demanded released of relief cheques to the left out affectees of earthquakes in Tangdar in Kashmir division and filling up of the Vice-Chairman post of Gujjar & Bakarwal Advisory Board. Deputation of ministerial employees of Agriculture department demanded removal of stagnation in some posts in agriculture department whileas J&K helpers of rural development department demanded for change of their designation. A deputation of Patti under the leadership of Gori Shanker Ex MLA apprised the Advisor that their land was occupied by some organizations for establishing colonies without taking them into consideration and making them landless. Mr. Gupta while responding to the demands of the deputationists assured them that their genuine demands would be redressed. Mr. Janak Raj Gupta while presiding a function of Alexander Memorial School at Residency Road Jammu stressed upon the teachers and students to work for upliftment of the society. He said India had a pledge to work for cause of others. He said that the state of Jammu & Kashmir was witnessing mass development at all fronts under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Aazd. He said that Mr. Azad has time and again asked the Ministers, Legislatures and officers to reach out the people to assess their problems and mitigate them on the spot. |
