Contractual, ad hoc employees call on Mangat

The ongoing strike of the contractual consolidated and adhoc employees entered fourth day here today. In this regard a team of leaders from various employees’ unions called on minister of health and medical education here today. Addressing the striking employees, chairman Medical Employees Association (MEA) Baldev Raj Nargotra said that since the government is paying no heed to the demands of the employees but the employees association further warned the authorities to took steps in order to regularize the service of striking employees who are serving the various hospitals for the many years. While speaking on the occasion, president of Medical Employees Federation criticized the state government for not meeting the demands of adhoc employees. The employees urged upon the government to concede to the demands at earliest. Among others who speak on the occasion, were Garu Ram, Rakesh Kumar, Vinood Kumar, Naresh Singh, Rajinder Kour and Yog Raj.
