| FOI: Industrial units may face closure | | | Early Times Reporter

The Federation of Industries (FOI) has expressed fear that the industrial units in Jammu may face closure as the industry is confronted with numerous problems.
As per a press release issued have today, members of the federation in a meeting held here today said that number of times FOI has requested the union commerce minister Jai Ram Romesh to pay a visit to Jammu for on spot assessment, but till date minister has not paid any attention towards the problems being faced by federation having 2000 industrial units.
The release added that though the minister had paid number of visits to Kashmir, but he completely ignored Jammu division.
Secretary General of the federation TS Reen said if industrial unit face closure, it will lead to retrenchment and aggravates problems of youths of the state.
Among others who attend the meeting were Anil Soni, Rajesh Jain and Romesh Badyal. |
