| Bhatti: Implement WG recommendations | | | Early Times Reporter

Chairman, All India Mahatma Gandhi National Foundation and senior Congress leader, Zahir Abbas Bhatti has laid stress to foil the attempts of the groups and people who are trying to create a gulf between the communities and regions in the country.
Addressing workers conference here he pleaded for the unity of the people, which he said could be ensured through a legal, constitutional and administrative mechanism.
Bhatti observed that the interests of people of Jammu are not less than those of the people of any other region and demanded immediate implementation of recommendation of four working group (GWs) constituted under the Round Table Conference (RTC) by the prime minister. Bhatti also said that Jammu is in much more disturbed condition as it faced refugee, problems as result of 1947, 1965 and 1971 Pakistan conflict and added that Dogri, Gujjri and Pahri languages be introduced as a subject in the school education. |
