| Three timber loaded trucks seized | | | Early Times Reporter

Three trucks loaded with timber have been seized by Forest Protection police. Giving details sources said that during naka at Forest Check Post, Mansar Morh, Samba, the naka party lead by Range Forest Officer Vinay Khajuria, Ravi Sharma forester and Sham Sharma, Ayub Khan, Darshan Lal, Shashinandan Singh and Jugjit Singh forest guards intercepted three trucks covered with polythene. On checking police found trucks full of timber. The trucks bore registration numbers JK03/5958, JK13/7653 and JK05/3501. The trucks drivers failed to produce documents demanded by the range officer. Therefore, a case has been registered under section 26 of J&K Forest Act in this regard. |
