| Jan charges govt of playing with the career of educated unemployed | | | Early Times Reporter Poonch | Mar 15 Charging coalition government of deliberating playing with the career of the educated unemployed youth of the state especially those living in far flung and remote areas, Provincial Secretary Youth National Conference Aijaz Ahmed Jan has alleged that the tall promises made by the present dispensation have fallen flat. Addressing party workers here today, the YNC leader said that it was unfortunate that the present government promised jobs to the youth but has entirely failed to frame even a concrete employment policy and accelerate self employment schemes in the state. He said the CM during his tour of the Poonch district had announced Rs. 70 lakhs for Poonch stadium, but regretted that despite lapse of considerable time not a single penny has been provided for the purposes. Jan said the people of the state are fed up with the present government and are waiting for the National Conference to lead them. The NC has always worked for the welfare and development of all the regions; he said and appealed the people to strengthen the hands of Dr. Omar Abdullah. On this occasion nearly 300 youth led by Jumma Ganai, Shayed Afridi and Shafiq are reported to have joined the party. Mansoor Khan, Shahzad Khan. Akbar, Nazir Mughal, Harbans Singh, Daya Sisngh, P D Sharma and Imtiyaz Bandey also addressed the meeting. |
