AAP submits memorandum to Governor

JAMMU, Oct 12: Eight members of deputation of Aam Aadmi Party submitted a memorandum to state Governor S.P. Malik with a copy to Financial Commissioner (Revenue) through additional commissioner with Divisional Commissioner-Jammu regarding burning demand of common state citizens for an early administered measures to check the menace of on going illegal and anti social practice of 'Land grabbers Mafia-Police.
The nexuses in J&K state causing harassment to gentle and poor farmers/landowners. The said unholy nexuses have disturbed the peace of gentle and poor lot of farmers/landowners by using money/muscle force while taking the benefit of existing loopholes within the unchecked and unaccountable system of state, it added.
Pertinent to mention here that in fact, the said gentle/poor lot of farmers/landowners has to face a unique kind of white collared militancy within in Jammu Division in particular because of an organized loot where key postings of corrupt Administrative/police officials are managed by the ruling chairs-elected political representatives-Brokers to strengthen the unholy network of the said cruel & corrupt element/nexuses for achieving their unfair targets, press note further revealed.
Besides other relevant revenue reforms including defunct settlement process of lands, AAP stressed upon the need of an immediate shift in our prevailing policing system on the basis of English/Maharaja rule where police was suppose to be a true subordinate of civil administration, AAP stated. As a result of old & fine administrative system, APRs of a police SHO were to be written by Tehsildar (1st. class Magistrate), APRs of Dy. SP were to be written by SDM, in case of SP or SSP, Deputy Commissioner was authorized for the same, it added. In the present system, even APRs of DIG should be recorded by the Divisional Commissioner, it further added.
Members who joined the deputation were S. Deep Singh the national council MEMBER-AAP, Sandeep Singh Shan, CL Sharma, S. Paramveer Singh.
