| DPS Nagbani holds Inter-House Badminton Competition | | |  Jammu, Oct 12: With the aim to encourage maximum student participation and promote healthy and fierce competition, DPS Nagbani organized an Inter-House Badminton Competition for the classes from V to IX in the school. The students participated enthusiastically as they performed splendidly in the competition. The students played with confidence and impressed the audience with fair competence. The motive of the game was to support education through sports and involve the young students not only in competing but also getting to know the value of games. The students learnt that playing the game correctly requires mastery over it. It provides a real workout for the body and mind also. The principal of the school RK Verma awarded certificates to the winners and appreciated the efforts of the players. He said that the competition aims to provide a suitable platform for the upcoming talents and also create an environment for them to become the pride of the nation in future. |
