| Tarigami hints new political front | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 15 Hinting at new political combinations in the state in pre poll scenario, the CPI (M) state secretary and MLA MY Tarigami said that political dispensations in the state have become questionable and hoped that political empowerment of youths would let new faces to make entry into state legislature during the ensuing elections. He said with the advancement of elections in the state the traditional political rivals would start ringing tones suiting to their political interests, adding those electorates were politically mature enough to judge this and observe the new political development around them. Addressing eighth state level CPI (M) conference, Tarigami said that a strong centre was only possible with a strong federation, adding that CPI (M) is of the view to uphold and strengthen the sovereignty of the state and wishes that all the regions and sections enjoy equitable growth and development. He said Kashmir issue can not be thrown to back burner and added that resolution demands sincere and serious deliberations on its internal and external dimensions for arriving at such an amiable and leading solution which will was acceptable to the people of Kashmir, Jammu and Ladakh. Welcoming the verdict of Pakistan electorate, Tarigami hoped that the popular government in neighborhood would work for commenting democratic and political forces with in Pakistan and fostering friendly relations with India for lasting peace in the sub continent. He said that confrontations between two neighboring countries have cuased heavy toll of innocent lives, rendered thousand widows and orphans. He said that the turbulent situations with the state also caused exodus of Kashmir Pandits from the valley adding that their dignified home coming was also serous issue needed to be handled with human approach. CPI (M) senior leaders Sham Prasad Kesar, Ghulam Nabi Malik also addressed the conference and highlighted various issues concerning to common people especially the youth, farmers and workers. |
