| NMC president urges to follow teachings of Ramayana | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 15: President of the National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) Subash Shastri delivered a notable lecture last night in a Ramleela function at Dewan Mandir organized by Shri Sanatan Dharam Natak Samaj Jammu.
In his address as chief guest in jam packed hall Shastri dwelled upon the importance of following Bhagwan Sri Ram Chander Ji teaching in order to create a moral environment for triumph of Dharma. Shastri quoted several instances from the life of Sri Ram who is considered the epitome of ideal human being in his avatar as dutiful son, husband, father and ruler. Shastri quoting couplets from Ramayana brought out their essence and relevance to the present. Shastri said that the occupied Kashmir needs to be liberated without any delay. Shastri and others felicitated the Shri Sanatan Dharam Natak Samaj President Anil Massom, General Secretary Sat Pal Sharma, Senior Member of the club Gurdas Sharma and several other dignitaries. Shastri and others were also honored with traditional Ramleela Angvastras. Several enactments of Ramleela theatre were presented in the show. |
