Stephens International Public School organizes Hindi Debate competition

JAMMU, Oct 15: In order to motivate students to overcome stage fear and showcase their talents, Jammu Sahodaya Inter School Hindi Debate Competition was organized today in Stephens International Public School for 9 to 12 classes.
The chief guests of the occasion were Jagdish Singh Dhami, President Sahodaya School complex, Jammu and Principal of Heritage Public School and Nirmal Mahana, Secretary of Sahodaya School complex.
Manoj Agnihotri, Principal of the school welcomed all the dignitaries and participants and briefed them that debate not only teaches a person how to win an argument but also instructs the person for a great amount of life essential skills.
The udging panel were Dr Alka Sharma, Research officer in State Institute of Education Muthi Jammu, Dr Sanjeevani, Senior Lecturer in Govt. Hr Sec. School (Miran Sahib), Dr Parshotam Kumar, Asst. Professor Jammu University.
The topic of the debate was "Kya Sarkar Ko Arakshan Pranali Smapat Kar Deni Chahiye?" and total 25 CBSE schools were engaged in an impressive exchange of words and reasons where they not only defended but also argued against the motion.
Harsh Chahal of APS Kaluchak School bagged the first position while the second position was shared by Kamakshi Khajuria of MHAC Nagbani & Tavleen Kour of MV international School. The third position was grabbed by Nidhi Choudhary, Stephens International Public School. consolation prize was given to Diya Sharma of Rich Harvest School.
