Accusing OIC leadership for having fallen prey to the US-Zionist plot to sabotage peace in West Asia, Prof Bhim Singh, Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party has asked the OIC to study the UN CIP Resolution of August 13,1948 before implementing it in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Resolution, he said, makes it mandatory on Pakistan to withdraw all its civilians settled in PoK including Gilgit, besides Army from all the occupied areas of the Jammu and Kashmir state. Is OIC leadership prepared to tell Pakistan to withdraw from PoK, Bhim asked?
JKNNP Chairman, while addressing party rallies at Marh and Domana organized in connection with the party’s silver jubilee celebrations, reminded OIC leaders about the occupation of Palestine and aggression against Iraq and urged the leadership to get UN resolution implemented there first before talking about Jammu and Kashmir, which is socially, politically and constitutionally an integral part of Indian Union. Advising the OIC to sweep before their doors first and introduce democracies in their countries before daring talk about India.
Reminding that the people of Jammu and Kashmir were absolutely justified to accede to the Union of India, Prof Singh said ‘we enjoy constitutional rights and protection of law here’ which every other Indian enjoys, whereas people of PoK have yet to reap the fruits of democracy. |
