| NC to formulate comprehensive employment policy: Sadhotra | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 17 ‘Reaffirming that National Conference is committed to concentrate on the growing employment problem in the State’, the party Provincial President Ajay Sadhotra has said that ‘the party high command has constituted a high level committee to formulate a comprehensive policy aiming at to provide employment to the educated youth so as to improve their economic condition’. Addressing public meeting at Arnas today, S adhotra said ‘it is unfortunate that government has not adhered to the policy of recruiting 90 per cent youths in railway and power projects, besides other industries’. Expressing concern over the victimization of people of Gool Arnas on political considerations, the NC leader alleged ‘dilapidated ‘Reasi-Arnas’ road depicts the shallow slogan of coalition government’. He said that people of Arnas, irrespective of political affiliation have been demanding Tehsil status for Arnas, but regretted that till date this genuine demand has not been accepted by the government. On this occasion, Keshaw Singh along with his over a hundred workers resigned from BJP and joined the National Conference. Abdul Wahid Shan, Abdul Gani Malik, Brij Mohan Sharma, Kashmir Singh, Jagjeevan Lal, Kaushyala Devi, Attaullah Khan and Balwant Singh also spoke the gathering. |
